Correct name

Tradescantia spathacea ‘Sitara’.

Name status

Established synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia spathacea ‘Sitara’. Published with a description by San Marcos Growers (2006, p. 44). The more widely-used name ‘Sitara’ is now accepted for this cultivar. Not to be confused with: Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Tricolor’, an established synonym for another cultivar. Tradescantia mundula ‘Tricolor’, an established synonym for another cultivar. Tradescantia zebrina ‘Tricolor’, an established synonym for another cultivar.
