Keep the website online
I don’t get paid for being ICRA or doing research. But hosting this website and keeping it running costs money, which I have to cover those out of my own pocket. That’s not sustainable long-term.
So if you want this website to stay up and for Tradescantia Hub to keep existing, you can help by setting up a monthly contribution through Patreon.
You can also make a one-off contribution of any amount via PayPal.
Any amount will help, even £1 or $1. Thank you!
Keep the information up-to-date
I do my best to keep track of news and developments in the tradescantia world. But often new cultivars sneak out on social media with no name or big announcement. And changes in the way people label or identify existing plants can happen subtly over time. I’m not active on social media now, so it’s easy for me to miss things. You can help by contacting me with new information!
If you see a plant for sale that doesn’t match any existing cultivar, or a name being used that isn’t already in the checklist, or a discussion about two cultivars that have been deemed identical, or distinguished in a new way… Please tell me! This website is only useful if the information is good. But I’m not omniscient, so I can only keep the information good if I find out when things have become out of date.
Don’t worry about bothering me. If it turns out you just missed something that was already on the website, I can help you find it. But if it turns out there is something I need to change, you can help countless future readers get good information by letting me know.
