Correct name

Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Lavender’.

Name status

Established synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Lavender’. Published with a description and photos by Titchmarsh (1984, p. 191-192). The more widely-used and less ambiguous name ‘Lavender’ is now accepted for this cultivar. Not to be confused with: Tradescantia spathacea ‘Tricolor’, an established synonym for another cultivar. Tradescantia mundula ‘Tricolor’, an established synonym for another cultivar. Tradescantia zebrina ‘Tricolor’, an established synonym for another cultivar.
