Name status

Not established, an invalidly published name used for the cultivar Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Lila Findling’. Listed with no description by Erhardt & Erhardt (1997, p. 657). No hardcopy description has been found, so the name is not established (Brickell et al., 2016, Art. 27.1). Based on a listing by Baumschule NewGarden (2022), it is assumed to refer to the same cultivar as ‘Lila Findling’. The officially registered name ‘Lila Findling’ is now accepted for this cultivar. Not to be confused with: Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Violeta’, the accepted name for another cultivar.
