Correct name	Tradescantia pallida ‘Purpurea’.
Name status	Established synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia pallida ‘Purpurea’. Established with a description by Graf (1959, p. 1062). The earlier and more widely-used name ‘Purpurea’ is now accepted for this cultivar. Not to be confused with: Tradescantia ‘Purple Heart’ [2021], the name was invalidly reused for multiple other cultivars.
