Correct name

Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Lavender’.

Name status

Established synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Lavender’. Established with a description by Graf (1985, p. 786, 2462). The more widely-used name ‘Lavender’ is now accepted for this cultivar. Not to be confused with: Tradescantia zebrina ‘Discolor’ [1959], the accepted name for another cultivar. Tradescantia zebrina ‘Discolor’ [1889], an established synonym for another cutivar.
