| Name status | Established synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Sweet Kate’. First listed with no description by Royal Horticultural Society (1998, p. 697), and established by Hawke (2010). Hawke (2010) originally designated ‘Blue and Gold’ as the valid name and ‘Sweet Kate’ as a synonym, but this was later confirmed to be a mistake (Richard Hawke, personal correspondence, May 2022). The earlier established name Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Sweet Kate’ is now accepted for this cultivar. |
