Correct name

Tradescantia zebrina ‘Quadricolor’.

Name status

Established synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia zebrina ‘Quadricolor’. Established with a description by Manda (1915, p. 5). Because it was published before 1959, the Latin name can be established (Brickell et al., 2016, Art. 21.11). Based on the description, it is assumed to refer to the same cultivar as ‘Quadricolor’. The much more widely-used name ‘Quadricolor’ is now accepted for this cultivar. Not to be confused with: Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Versicolor’, the accepted name for another cultivar. Tradescantia spathacea ‘Versicolor’, the name has been invalidly reused for another cultivar.
