Description
Described by Alex Rassadnikov.
| Species | Tradescantia pallida. |
| Growth habit | Growth is initially fairly upright, but long stems will eventually start to trail. In intense light it will stay compact and upright for longer, whereas in moderate light it will trail more easily. |
| Foliage | Oblong leaves with some fur and a slightly wavy shape. The colour ranges from green to purple depending on conditions. |
| Flowers | Flowers very vigorously and for a long time. The flowers are around 2cm across with a pleasant fragrance. Petals are white at the centre and faintly pink at the edges. |
| Comparisons | Compared to ‘Ocampo White’, the leaves are slightly wider, slightly less furry, and become purple more easily in the sun. Compared to ‘Blue Sue’, the leaves are narrower and the flower is a lighter colour. |
