Correct nameTradescantia fluminensis ‘Variegata’.
Name statusEstablished synonym, another published name for the cultivar Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Variegata’.

Published with a description by Purple (1872, p. 17). Because it was published before 1959, the Latin name can be established (Brickell et al., 2016, Art. 21.11).

Based on the description, it is assumed to refer to the same cultivar is ‘Variegata’. The older and more widely-used name ‘Variegata’ is now accepted for this cultivar.
