OriginsSeedling from a cross between Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Blue Stone’ and Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Zwanenburg Blue’, bred and named by Kevin Vaughn (personal correspondence, January 2022).
ClassificationLike other hardy garden hybrids, it is now placed in the Andersoniana Group. These hybrids are sometimes mislabelled as T. virginiana or the invalid botanical hybrid T. × andersoniana.

AvailabilityRare in cultivation, it has not been found for sale since it was mentioned by Land (2008).
