|Classification||Like other hardy garden hybrids, it is now placed in the Andersoniana Group. These hybrids are sometimes mislabelled as T. virginiana or the invalid botanical hybrid T. × andersoniana.|
|Availability||Rare in cultivation, it has not been found for sale since it was mentioned by Land (2008).|
