Origins | Seedling from a cross between Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Blue Stone’ and Tradescantia (Andersoniana Group) ‘Zwanenburg Blue’, bred and named by Kevin Vaughn (personal correspondence, January 2022). |
Classification | Like other hardy garden hybrids, it is now placed in the Andersoniana Group. These hybrids are sometimes mislabelled as T. virginiana or the invalid botanical hybrid T. × andersoniana. |

Availability | Rare in cultivation, it has not been found for sale since it was mentioned by Land (2008). |
