Description
Described with reference to the RHS Colour Chart (6th Edition; 2019 reprint).

| Growth habit | Vigorous sprawling or trailing habit with long, minimally-branching stems. |
| Foliage | Stems are 0.75-2mm thick with internodes 1-4cm long, dark greyish green (N189A) to dark greyish yellowish brown (N200A). Leaves are narrow pointed ovals, 2.5-5cm long and 1-1.5cm wide. The upper surfaces are dark greyish purple (202A) to dark greyish reddish brown (200A), with the oldest leaves fading to moderate olive green (147A). The undersides are uniform dark purplish grey (N187A). The leaves are smooth except for some hairs at the top of the sheath, and occasionally a few scattered along the centre of the upper surface. |
| Flowers | 6-8mm across. Petals are white and rounded, sometimes with a hint of pink at the tips. Stamen filaments and stigma are white, anthers are yellow. |
| Comparisons | Compared to ‘Purple Bridal Veil’, the leaves are a similar texture but a much darker purple colour in all light conditions. Compared to ‘Jose Puig’, the leaves are a similar colour but lack the green margins, and are thinner and less succulent. |
