This is not a valid botanical variety (POWO, 2022), so the plant is now treated as a cultivar with the same name (Brickell et al., 2016, Art. 21.6). Like other hardy garden hybrids, it is now placed in the Andersoniana Group. These hybrids are sometimes mislabelled as Tradescantia virginiana or the invalid botanical hybrid Tradescantia × andersoniana. |
