Name status | Not established, an invalidly published name used to sell multiple other cultivars. Published with a photo by Rochford’s Nursery (n.d.), and with a description by Glasshouse Works (1984, p. 18). The name is in Latin, and has previously been used in the genus, so it cannot be established (Brickell et al., 2016, Arts. 21.11, 30.1). The two sources seems to refer to different cultivars, Tradescantia zebrina ‘Purpusii’ and Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Bicolor’, so the name cannot be linked to a single specific plant.
