Description

| Growth habit | Creeping to slightly upright, very densely branched. |
| Foliage | Stems are 3-4mm thick, with internodes 0.5-2.5cm long, strong yellow green (144A). Leaves are spirally or alternately arranged along the stem. Leaves are wide rounded ovals, 3-7.5cm long and 2-3.5cm wide with a narrow stalk (petiole). The upper surfaces are dark yellowish green (189A to 139A), with marginal variegation from light purple (84C) to yellowish white (156D). The undersides are greyish reddish purple (N77C) to dark purple (79C) under dark areas, and deep purplish pink (N78C) to yellowish white (156A) under light areas. Leaf sheaths are moderate yellow green (N148D) with darker veins. The upper and lower leaf surfaces are completely hairless. The leaf margins are lined with tiny hairs (ciliate or ciliolate), and the tops of the sheaths have a cluster of longer hairs. |
