Description

Described by Cistus Nursery (2016, p. 89) and Sean Hogan (personal correspondence, July 2024), and with reference to the RHS Colour Chart (6th Edition; 2019 reprint).

SpeciesTradescantia sillamontana.
Growth habit30cm high x 45cm spread. Frost hardy to -10ºC.
FoliageGreen with white hairs.
Flowers15-17mm across. Petals are light purple (N80C), with a faded white area down the centre. The petals are fairly triangular with pointed tips and minimally ruffled edges.
ComparisonsCompared to unnamed T. sillamontana clones, the leaves are narrower and more grey.
