I’m available for indoor gardening services and advice within Machynlleth. I’m the National Collection holder for tropical tradescantias, as well as running a small nursery, so I have years of experience with specialist houseplant care and research.
I offer three different services to choose from:
- Plant studio session. You bring your plants to my home studio for diagnosis, care advice, repotting, pruning, feeding, or treatment of pests and other problems. I can talk you through what to do, we can work together, or you can leave me to it.
- Home advice visit. I come to your home to examine your plants, talk about your growing conditions, diagnose problems, and give care advice. I won’t actually do anything with the plants, just give recommendations.
- Home gardening visit. I come to your home with all my supplies ready for diagnosis, care advice, repotting, pruning, feeding, or treatment of pests and other problems. I can talk you through what to do, we can work together, or you can leave me to it.
All three services come with a written report summarising what I did and what information I gave, including my recommendations and anything I might have needed to research after we talked.

My rates for in-person services are:

Payment is by invoice afterwards, through bank transfer or PayPal. When you get in touch to book, I’ll give an estimated quote based on what you’d like me to do. You can also specify a maximum time limit if you want.
I am generally available for bookings from 9am-2pm on any day, including weekends. To book, you can either describe your general weekly availability, or give a few specific date-time slots that would work.
