| Foliage | Spring shoots are bright green with red or purple veins. Leaves are 27-30cm long, slightly hairy. |
| Flowers | 5-5.5cm across. Petals are pink-lilac, with folded edges. Stamen hairs are slightly darker than the petals, anthers are yellow. |
